3.The dashboard page is displayed. Click Dashboard > Services > User Services > View Additional Notices/Orders
4. Additional Notices and Orders page is displayed. Click the View hyperlink to go to the Case Details screen of the issued Notice/Order.
Note: All orders and notices are shown in order from highest to lowest. You can search for the orders/notices you want to view using the Navigation buttons provided below.
5. Case Details page is displayed. By default, the NOTICES tab is chosen, which shows the table with details about the Prosecution Notice. Click the name(s) of the document(s) in the table’s Documents section to download and view them on your computer.
Note: Once the Tax Official has issued Notice against your case, Status will be “Complaint filed”. It will get changed to “Closed” when the Tax Official closes the case in any of the following cases:
- If you apply for a “compounding of offence” and the Commissioner agrees, and if you pay the compounding amount (tax, interest, and penalty) by the time specified in the order, the private complaint you filed with the First Class Judicial Magistrate or Competent Court will be dropped. (See Section 138 for more information)
- If you file an application for “compounding of offence,” and the Commissioner agrees, and you pay the “compounding amount” within the time specified in the order, but you haven’t yet filed a private complaint with the First Class Judicial Magistrate or Competent Court, then you won’t be prosecuted for the same offense.
- If the private complaint filed with the First Class Judicial Magistrate or Competent Court is thrown out, the case is over.
- If you did what the First Class Judicial Magistrate or Competent Court said you should do, the case is over.
