How can I retrieve the saved Challan, edit it and make payment through it?

Saved Challans are only available if created post-login on the GST Portal. To retrieve the saved challan, perform the following steps:

1.Go to the address https://www.gst.gov.in/. The Home page for GST is shown. Use valid credentials to log in to the GST Portal. The Dashboard is displayed. Click the Services > Payments > My Saved Challans option.

2. The Saved Challans are displayed in a chronological order (most recently saved challan is shown first in the list).

Note:

  • You have 7 days from the date of creation to look at or change saved challans. It will be removed from the GST Portal after 7 days.
  • At any given time, you can only save up to 10 challans.
  • You can change the saved challan by clicking the Edit button in the Action column. You can delete the saved challan by clicking the “Delete” button.

3. Clicking the Edit button displays the Challan.

Note:

  • You can change the details of the challan in the section called “Details of Deposit,” and you can change the way you pay from the list of “Payment Modes.”
  • You can change the reason why the challan was made by clicking the EDIT REASON button. It takes you back to the page about the Reason of Challan.
