Latest Update: Google Map Location Mandatory for GST Registration
Google Maps is a digital mapping platform and consumer application made by Google. There are many ways to see satellite images, aerial photos, Streetview, 360° interactive views of the streets, and real-time traffic conditions.
As part of the registration process and any changes made afterward on the GST portal, you must now enter the exact location of the building using Google Location.
Key Points in New Update of Google Map Location Mandatory
Included are a map tile and the ability to move an address pinhead to the exact location of the applicant’s address by dragging and dropping it.
When you choose a different address input field in the programme, it will immediately fill in with the correct information.
PIN Codes have been linked to address fields so that macro-level address entry fields can be filled in automatically based on what is in one of these fields. When the PIN is entered, for example, the correct State and District will already be filled in.
Also, if the user wants, he or she can use the drop-down menus that appear next to the address fields to choose the best address field (s). This will cut down on the number of wrong addresses and make it easier for the user to fill in the right fields.
All of the important address fields have been put together so that there won’t be any confusion when the required information is filled in.
The user’s address is used to fill in the latitude and longitude fields, which can’t be changed.
